I had wanted to post this up earlier but my friend didn’t let me. She said it’s too heartbreaking.
This happened last year, at a store called Milky Lane in Pavilion KL shortly after its grand opening. This friend of mine and I were sitting in store having coffee when her bag was mysterious stolen from right under her nose. Inside her bag was all her personal belongings including her latest paycheck, new phone and some jewellery.
She placed her big bag on the floor next to her chair while we sat back facing the entrance. That’s when a dodgy Chinaman entered and swiped her bag away without anyone of us noticing. Lucky for him. If he were caught red-handed, I bet ya he’d be walking out of Pavilion with his testicles hanging from his teeth.
We notified mall security immediately when we realised her bag was stolen. As expected, they were sympathetic but they couldn’t do much. All they did was offering her a shoulder to cry on.
A quick check with the store’s CCTV recordings revealed the modus operandi of the thief in action.
The moral of the story is: buy insurance.
The newpaper headlines say, PM quietly takes public transport to experience commuters’ problems.
Well if he’s quietly taking public transport, how come there are so damn many cameras following him!
lmao
The moral of the story is: buy insurance.
That is sooooo scary!! No one was manning the security camera merh? Then wats the purpose of the SC?
too bad… we must be alert 24/7.
ve to tell my mom abt this .. she olweys letak hbag atas lantai
i think someone has kena from the Chinaman d before he stoled your friend’s bag. Look at the bags he carried in. I don’t think those stuff belong to him!
omg..that really scary..
LOL. How come you moral of the story is always buy insurance?
what??? and no one did anything??? I hope you are not trying to be funny here, but it is very scary!
if my latest paycheck, NEW phone and jewellery kena curi, i will sure naik gila!! Have to be alert everytime..
CCTVs today are just there to rub it in when shit happens; they don’t do squat man.
wahpiang.PRO!
That fellow should be castrated…..
omg…
The thief is no Linus Caldwell is he?
shit happens.. thats y i keep my stuff as close to me as possible.. sad for ur friend though..
haloo,kenny.can u offer me a num 1 in ur comments list?mereka too fst d,i tak cukup cepat…
oh crap. Curse tat person.
why would there be people chasing after the first place in the comment slot? =.=
i will certainly kill this kind of ppl if i could grab one…
omg! why is she (your friend) so stupid one? put her handbag with everything inside under the chair? of cos lar, knowing the world we are living in now, where got safe place, cry also no good already. how to catch the thief?
abuthen what insurance insured your handbag hur?
i guess, the lesson here is “constant vigilante”
Do not leave your bag on the floor. If you must put your bag on the floor, put in front of you, touching your feet/ankle. So you would feel your bag against your skin.
Not to say your friend is careless, as I had been a victim once (snatch theft) so, nowadays I am very careful where I put my things.
I feel like I want to “belasah” that thief too. That kinda people should have syphilis that make their balls fall off.
Same thing happen to my mom few years ago…
Enter ‘Dexter mode’
So sorry to your friend. That theif is too brave. Have to be ALERT all the time whenever in public area. U never know what may happen next. =)
thank you. great advice indeed. buy insurance.
omigod! stupid man! HORRID!
so obvious though! pity there werent more people there at the time. He totally just came in and then got it, stood up and left. my goodness.
the way he walked out looked so haughty you can practically smack his balls off.
You mean even after he was caught on camera. He is not caught!!! I am sure he is still surfacing in the shopping centre.
Hey, why don’t you & your other friends set him up. Bait him then catch him then beat the #$%^&*() out of $%^&*() him
Should we catch the offender in public? I don’t know. I saw a guy running away and another guy shouting at the back CATCH! MOLEST!
And when I did catch him, they beat him up.
Might be better to leave crimebusting to the police.
Shame on him, useless jerk!!! Din go find a job, came to steal people things to survive, hope someday he ll get caught thn send to jail. GOD bless him!!!
omg this is so damn horror!
Moral of the story is: always place your bag on your lap, or sit facing each other, so you can watch out for each other.
hmm. i experienced this kind of thing before. my macbook pro was stolen when my back was facing my shop, i was distracted by a potential customer who was the ‘distractor’ while the ‘executor’ did the dirty job. a few mins later, i turned back, my notebook was gone!
i think i heard cheesie’s voice..
ugh.. why.. like no.. people catch… that.. fat… ass? =.=
still wanna let him lingerrrr around mehhhh?
The food must be too good that a patron sitting next to the exit door, didn’t notice a criminal act happened right in front of him. (-.-)
ur friend must have been noticed/followed by him for quite some time before he took action. girls (and guys) who like to bring big bags and put everything valueable inside must beware..
kenny, how can you not notice him???
omg! under broad daylight in public?!?!
he deserves to be shot!
faint! thr’s even insurance for lost handbags? which company? i wanna buy! didnt kenny’s fren realised her bag is placed straightly in front of d door pathway? like purposely tempt robbers. moral of d story: always sit facing each other!
LoL… The morale of the story is don’t go out with Kenny… really malang…
not like got insurance to buy, lol
that’s always put the bag on lap..
Yr fren should not put her bag on the floor at the first place. Her wrong.
Omg, like tat oso can, so cham. Never tot tat thief is so fierce loh!
While i dont condone the thiefs behaviour, i think your fren shud not hv been so careless in d first place. At least if you’re gonna put your stuff somewhere not close to you, put it somewhere where u can actually SEE it?
And you went ahead n posted this against your friend’s advise. In the end saying, buy insurance?
Seems to me like you’re just rubbing it in lah…. so pity!
omg damn scary.. usually when i leave my bag on the opposite side of a friend i “assume” my friend will notice if anything is happening directly in front of him/her!!! omg u must have been totally caught up in the conversation to not notice what the guy was doing wei.. then again, not your fault also everyone has to be alert and careful.
whats wit u and insurance.
are you advertising insurance soon?
well, i would have say she brought it to herself. serves her right. if your friend did not put the bag under the chair and away from her surveillance, her bag wouldn’t be stolen. she opened the opportunity or i should rather say, she invited him to steal her bag!
what a horrible thing to do.. bastard can rot in hell.
ya shouldnt put her bag on the floor- i did that once at a bookstore cafe in melbourne,my sister was facing me and she didnt even see how it happened. It was too quick. Also dont wear a handbag thats like a back pack – My purse was also stolen from this during christmas time at myer in melbourne.
this guy got balls. if he ever stole my gf’s, he’s gonna rest in peace.
wow… jerk!
wtf. easy money for the culprit huh? If that was my bag and the fler was caught red-handed, I’d have his testicles blended on the spot instead of hanging on his damn teeth.
hope he falls down into a big drain in the middle of the night and dies there without anyone knowing until the body is rotted. zzz
if notice carefully, pix of pak lah taking public transport were taken by Bernama.
the news also said, “Speaking to Bernama after disembarking at the Masjid Jamek LRT station, he said he was not satisfied and wanted immediate improvements to be made.”
maybe, just maybe, only bernama was there and not other newspapers.
I guess all of us should be more aware. don’t put bags on the floor anymore!
she is careless to put the bad on the floor. Haizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, the man is chinaman? whats makes u so sure, please don accuse people simply. I WARN U, U DON ACCUSE PPL SIMPLY BECAUSE THAT IS NOT COOL, THAT IS RUDE, OKAY, HE CAN BE A MALAYSIAN CHINESE, OR A CHINESE FROM ELSEWHERE, NOT CHINAMAN OKAY, U SAW HIS PASSPORT IZIT? U KNOW HIM IZZIT? IS THAT WHY U SAY HE IS A CHINA MAN? BECAUSE U KNOW WHO HE IS? ARE U BOTH IN A PLOT OR SOMETHING THAT U DISTRACT THE GAL AND THE CHINAMAN WHOM U KNOW DO HIS JOB? THAT IS VERY PRESUMPTIOUS YOU KNOW FOR U SUGGESTING THAT HE IS A CHINAMAN. SORRY FOR SAYING IT, I AM JUST EXPRESSING MY VIEWS.
how come the person u n ur fren were talking too did not see that man? he was looking really suspicious and kept look back wo…
perfect smooth criminal….
scratch that…i thought u 2 were talking with someone else…=x…after watching it again den only realize it was just the both of u.
LOL, very smart of her putting her handbag under the chair. SMART !
gawd! thats so coooooooool!!!!
ALAMAK! y put on the floor…but u guys tak nampak ka? or u guys thought he just bent down to take things?
no offence but why is ur fren so silly to leave it on the floor just like dat.. if she really had valuables in it, treat it like u really do..
yea,u shudnt say dat he’s a chinaman,u r a dam country-ist..
zz
y cant u juz call him unknown A or wat wat,but not chinaman?
many things has happened in Pavilion KL
I have a friends working there and there have been countless cases of shoplifters, pick-pockets and thieves around.
Some places which I’ve heard that shoplifters struck were Qu*ckS*lver, R*xy, F*ssil, Sw*tch and many more! The worse part is, 80% of the shoplifters manage to get away with it!
I’m not saying Pavilion is a bad place to shop neither am I talking bad about Pavilion. I’m just saying despite being such a well known shopping complex,
Huh, scary!!!
(accidentally press the “publish” button)
.. it lacks proper security features and ability.
Lesson here is, everyone should take care of their personal belongings more closely. The idea for the incident not to happen is preventing it from happening in the first place! Don’t give them the slightest opportunity to strike. Because these thieves are quick and sharp and will seize an open opportunity when it comes to their door step.
Regards.
i’m sorry to hear about this incident, however as with other readers, i too feel that calling the thief a “chinaman” is rude. although i was born and raised in australia, i am originally from mainland china. to me, it felt like you were labeling people from mainland china as thieves, and reinforcing that negative stigma i know many malaysians/singaporeans have of people from mainland china.
sorry for her… nice post as this will remind us to be more careful ..and i sure beat the hell out of him if i catch him…
Hey Dude, I like the punch line, keeper.
🙂 take care of your belongings
Don’t be offended about me calling the thief a Chinaman.
Chinaman just means Chinese, not necessarily people from mainland China.
I’m a Chinese myself, so of course I’m entitled to call other Chinese Chinaman.
It’s like African Americans calling each other “nigger” y’know?
omg…
so the CCTV was only there to confirm that your bag was indeed being stolen
well i hope your friend learn this painful lesson. do not put valuable things on the floor!
gosh…….this is so disturbing! hopefully he will be punished accordingly soon!
OMG !! So scary.. That guy actually stole other ppl’s paper bags before your friend’s @.@
That’s why I never like to carry bag O_o
holy crap… stealing in broad daylight.. he is one bloody daring person.. And i’m surprised that no one actually saw that..
She is not alert to this thievery in the first place. The thief even make a silly sound when taking the things. Well, moral for this lesson is: be more alert and try to secure your bag properly next time.
I really don’t get this; how can you leave a bag with stuff worth a few thousand bucks in it just lying on the floor, out of sight?
Your friend must either be really naive, or really dumb. Either which, it’s a good lesson for her.
alrighty kenny, thanks for the clarification
dang… in broad day light???
she is careless to put the bad on the floor. Haizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, the man is chinaman? whats makes u so sure, please don accuse people simply. I WARN U, U DON ACCUSE PPL SIMPLY BECAUSE THAT IS NOT COOL, THAT IS RUDE, OKAY, HE CAN BE A MALAYSIAN CHINESE, OR A CHINESE FROM ELSEWHERE, NOT CHINAMAN OKAY, U SAW HIS PASSPORT IZIT? hey dude..don’t you think your are so rude and childish…..LAME Comment u leaved !!!!
China Man means a Chinese man la..what else can write….LAME person !! Go and Get a life la…
Kacau betul!!!!
yer!!! why so scary one…spoil Pavilion image la..
I hate the thief!! CHEAP!
i must say that ur friend is being very careless.
if i had a new phone and pay check i would be hugging my bag tight on my lap.
And apparently that guy drop something (heard the sound from the video)…how can u guys not turn around and look?
i hate theft! this reminds me of my stolen bag in Brunei.
at least this was caught on CCTV. the CCTV at The Mall Gadong was not even working.
Hmm, kinda her own fault. This is Malaysia after all.
All we can do is learn from this. 😀
blardi…i carry a big bag,but i have my money and phones on me tight pants so that i can feel em all the time, but of course not evrything can put in pockets la,personally i feel the cctv is useless.unless ppl are actually manning them while they’re on live-(like in the movies),i imagine here the tv monitors are just on or even broken-case in point-KLIA,altantuya case and etc.its disgusting and yes i agree its just rubbing salt into the wound.
curse that thief…… he will get punishment for wat he done…. CURSE~!!!
my colleague had her laptop stolen at a freaking hotel!! Yea, sure she demanded to see the CCTV recording and their excuse was “it wasn’t recording, it’s live feed”…… swt
bloody hell. A chinaman at work. I don’t get it why can’t you say chinaman? It’s a chinese man for god sake. Who cares where he came from? China or Malaysia it’ is still a chinaman…. lamers.
Just curious. Even after you guys got that footage, wasn’t anything done to try to nab the man or anything?
yalah, sukati jak nya curi barang urg, damn it taht guy, have gut to steal kennysia’s friends bag.
http://www.iLoveKuching.com
priceless video. wads d use of cctv nowadays? such blurry images.. can see a pregnant old man only. n i cudnt believe u guys didnt turn around when he made those disturbing sounds when he dropped d bag. well at least it’s not an lv/coach rite. 😛
darn it…if i know who he is…i’ll beat him up real bad!
And he have better had bought insurance for himself!
Ur friend is really dumb. To leave your shopping bags on the floor is one thing, to leave you HANDBAG on the floor is stupid, to leave it at the pathway is even stupider.
She learnt a lesson from this. She’ll never leave her handbags lying around ever again.
It’s an expensive lesson, but effective. As for the thief, he won’t be able to do this unless u create the opportunity.
Thanks for sharing this! Really grateful cuz I have a habit of putting my handbag on the floor too! I really appreciate this.
To Kenny’s poor friend, there will be more pay checks, handphone, jewellery and branded handbag to come in the future! Cheer up!
Yes. Buy insurance. Kenny, you sell insurance?
If not, buy from my mom lah. lols~ cheers mate. 😉
Ruby.
Well, sometime thing happend where we can’t avoid but yet we can do something to prevent it happend….EXTRA EXTRA Carefull…. Feel sorry for ur fren..what a bad experience..
ouch…snatched from under her nose..literally,..hope she can ‘cover’ back her losses.
sigh…I once kept my bag right next to me. My bag wasn’t stolen, but all my stuff in the bag was. Thieves are just so damn pro these days!
So sad~
We just need to put all important belonging near to us…
Malaysiaman? Haha..
OMG, wad the fuck la. That man ought to be punish. What an idiot to have such guts and steal.
wtf…sorry for ur friend…
The moral of the story is:
Never leave your handbag on the floor especially if you keep your valuables inside. Put it on your lap and hug it tight la.
Woah…
walau, like that also can. just feel sad for your friend. never put your bag behind or below the chair. lesson learned. thanks for sharing the video!
OH CRAP~!!! That’s so darn obvious~!!!
The fella sitting far behind on the single table should be able to spot that… if he/she is alert enough of surrounding… OR trying to close one eye???
the moral of the story is NOT to buy insurance, but to be smart! how can she put her bag under the chair but not on her lap since she got so many valuable thingy inside? that’s her lesson, to teach her to be smart la.
Gosh!!!! I thought Pavilion KL was a save place..
if i was there i would break his nose and shattered his jaw.and kenny could sit on him later on.
that really sucks! your friend must have been very upset..my laptop was stolen in that manner as well (and the bloody cctv at the place wasnt working)
My laptop stolen in McD SS15 Subang last month. I put it on the chair beside. with my fren, we never left the place we sit. the guys just grab it & go with a motorbike waited outside. I only realize it when he is outside already,..
The guys was action was catch in CCTV as well. Middle age India Male, wear smart. He sit in front of me & make a phone call before he grab.
I have few laptop bag to help me, I going to catch those bugger & SCREW them hard. F***… I lost all my effort for the past 1 month.
how come the cctv recorded your conversation as well.no privacy anymore.
U been hit by~
a smooooth criminal~~~~~ XD
See how stupid you guys been when never aware of your surroundings. Me, and all my sisters are always be aware of some stupid ppl trying to do smtg dodgy. Learn from lesson ppl
your friend was pretty careless to put her bag on the floor..
not to mention the careless shop keepers…why didn’t they get suspicious of a man who just walked in to the store, order nothing, chose seat near you guys though in fact there’re still a lot of empty seats and walked out right away..they should hire a security..
and that man is obviously not a pro..he looks awkward…keep looking back and forward..
well, lesson learned anyway..always put your valuable belongings on your lap.
Hi Sir, Im the Guy who stole that bag. I truly apologize for what i did. Now who do i return this bag to?
walau .. they should’ve had a leading waitress/ waiter to see to the ppl coming in and showing them their seats merr… not observant aso the ppl working there.. =.=
moral of the story: don’t be a dumbass to put your bag on the floor!
The moral of the story is never put ur handbag on the floor.. Honestly no offence…thats stupid. Lesson learnt next time hold it on your lap.
wah lan eh.
he sure is daring.
fucking chinaman!!
omg how can you not notice that, that is why oyu have to be constantly be aware of who is around you, ppl say i’m checking out chicks, i say everyones a suspect
Aren’t you guys were talking with someone in front of you? If I was the person sitting infornt of you I would have noticed whoever that came from the door and sat down behind my table. Not to mention me looking at what he’s up to.
Wahlauweh… I’m amaze man. that fella really had his plan well made. from the moment he enter the premise (even when he pull his chair means something) until he get out of the place. Pergh, i bet this guy do this for living. anyway thanks kenny, this event remind me to be extra cautious everytime. “once lalai, harta babai”
i used to steal things like that… old tactics
I think most of the blame goes to the seating arrangements in these restaurants. They’re so close, that you can’t really notice much of what goes on under the chairs. Even if Kenny was sitting opposite his friend, they might’ve been so distracted with their conversation to notice what that fella was doing behind that girl.
IF you still aren’t willing to get insurance. then be more careful. XD
2nd moral of the story. lol
i dun understand how buying insurance can protect you from thefts. Not as if the insurance companies will reimburse you for your loss, and even if they do, you think they will reimburse you for your handphone, paycheck etc meh?? they will say i wan proof la, this la that lah. mahai……
blame no one but herself for being such an idiot to put her bag under the chair. this is a lesson to be learned.
I’m sorry to hear about your friend who had her bag stolen. I suppose we always have to be super-vigilant of our possessions!
About the Prime Minister taking public transport – I think it’s an excellent idea for him to do so. It’s counter productive of you to criticise the article title, just so you can sound funny.
In Melbourne our trains are really crowded too, and often have delays, yet our politicians are so slow to do anything about it – they have drivers or take cabs to work, so they don’t understand how difficult it is to take public transport, and they don’t bother to change anything. Good on the Prime Minister for making an effort!
xox Sarah
I think its good that you decided to post it. I guess its an eye opener for us Malaysians, who don’t take measures to protect our stuff.. I’ve personally had my hand phone stolen at a pasar malam, where they are so damn smart, they cut your bag. So yeah, we should all learn to be careful.
Well, your dear friend is unfortunately, partly to blame. She created the opportunity. Shouldn’t have left the bag on the floor in the first place especially that she had all her valuables in there. Careless or plain silly.
Three things:
1) Your friend is stupid to leave her bags unattended
2) Your friend is stupid because it was Malaysia and thieves are everywhere
3) why are you two sitting side by side instead of face to face as any normal friends would? Too engrossed in some ‘activities’ under the table?
OMG… I never knew that people put their handbags on the floor… it never occured to be that ANYONE would actually do such a thing >
can’t really see the man’s features on the CCTV… fat chance catching the guy.. only hope to send message to others to be extra careful of their belongings…. and is there really insurance for this?
The moral of the story is: NEVER LEAVE ANY BAGS ON THE FLOOR.HANG IT TO YOUR NECK AT ALL TIMES,
EVEN WHEN YOU’RE EATING.
This happen to us while on holidays in Sabah.
We were having dinner in one of the big seafood restaurant. ( very famous and popular one and lots of tourist,{not to mention names} with CCTV but not working).
Our bag with money and all travelling documents and gone from under our table.
We are just stupid careless.
So be warned and be extra careful.
Thanks for posting that video.
Thank God Singaporeans so kiasu they either hug their bags or rest their back on the bag. I’ve never seen anyone put their bags on the floor like that -___-
for all the stupid ppl who call other ppl stupid, i hope u will lose ur things soon after commenting like this.
first of all,the bag contained a lot of paperwork so it was very heavy. the first hour we(kenny and i and another girl in front of us) talked, i kept the bag on my lap until it was too much to bear and i put it in between my feet. with kenny’s backpack and another shopping bag there too. in between my feet and the other girl’s feet.
i NEVER put my things on the floor before this. i know it is a dangerous thing to do. but considering how heavy the bag was, and how tired i was (it was 9pm++ ald after a long day at work) and IN A SUPPOSEDLY 5STAR SHOPPING MALL, most of us wld do the same. some more, we werent not seated in a crowded area and very far into the shop.
if u watched the video properly, u wld see the thief tried to pull the bag a few times. bcoz it’s too heavy anf far away from him.
dont worry. the pavilion management will hear from me again soon regarding this. im doing legal claims from them to get back my losses bcoz of their incompetent security guards within their premises.
a letter will be sent as soon as it’s feasible for me to do the necessary.
and all the smart ppl who watched the video, see how long u can last without losing ur things. 🙂
Why blame the victim 2 be careless? Should blame our country 2 have so lousy security n high crime rate.
Quoting “first of all,the bag contained a lot of paperwork so it was very heavy. the first hour we(kenny and i and another girl in front of us) talked, i kept the bag on my lap until it was too much to bear and i put it in between my feet. with kenny’s backpack and another shopping bag there too. in between my feet and the other girl’s feet.

Then u should’ve left it on one of the chairs, within sight.
*sigh*
yah. i shld have thought of that.
but i was too exhausted after a long day at work (awake since 6am, gone to 2 different events in different areas of pj and kl and gone to pick up some stuf for kenny b4 meeting kenny in pavilion for dinner and drinks with his friend etc)it makes it so damn much easier to be careless than usual. u tend to act without much afterthought.
furthermore, the other girl kenny was meeting that night i also met her for the very first time,i thought it wouldn’t be nice of me to impose on her to put my 10kg bag next to her when all she wanted was to interview kenny for her master’s thesis.
🙂
Hm..just want to comment a few things on what “the victim’ put up. Ok… yes we are sympathy for you for loosing your belongings and bags, that aside, what makes you think that sueing the Pavillion Management will set everything straight? For crying out loud, we are living in Malaysia. Unless u have just returned from some other country and totally has no idea how our coutnry’s security has gone down the drain in recent years, no place in safe. Since you are putting your things to the floor cant you at least get your purse or anything valuable out? Like Srsly said, why cant you put it on a chair opposite where u can see it. You can write as many letter as you want but I dont think you can get anything out of it. What do you expect, you want their security guard to follow you everywhere you go??
agree.
i think this is a lesson to learn from la. it’s okay. not like anybody died.
i was just glad it wasnt a snatch thief. i could have been physically hurt. it’s only some possessions that could be replaced. but this doesn’t mean there wasn’t a lot of stress and grief involved in replacing them (like ic and so on)
and i don’t think anyone who wasn’t there or involved in this should comment further on this. (kenny, can u please disable comments on this please considering the collective IQ of your readers is pretty low)
justone> i didn’t say i wanted to sue them. that would incur so much more costs than what i have lost. i’m not that naive.
what so much difference does it make if i put it on the floor and the chair opposite me? what if the thief was daring enough to take it from the chair and ran?
i put down the bag for at most 10mins and we were about to leave. at the time of discovering the lost, it was only 9.35pm (video showed that the thief left at 9,21pm)which means, the security people could have sealed off the exits or done something on their part if they acted efficiently instead of dilly dally around taking their time to go to the scene and ask questions.
getting any shopping mall to take responsibility for the lack of security within their own premises is not something we as individuals can not do.
if i can not get back what i lost, at least i can make the management think twice about being so lax at doing their job. this is not something we all should just say “it’s over and there’s nothing we can do.”
why should it?
this is no longer a matter of losing a bag. but the security within the premises of a so-called 5star shopping mall and no in any open area.
this is no longer a matter of losing a bag. but the security within the premises of a so-called 5star shopping mall and NOT in any open area.
to think there will be better security at a place like Pavillion.
not really a great place when u have to b cautious half the time while intending to have a nice cuppa coffee on a weekend, no?
I would think twice to go there with my wife and kids, really.
considering how somebody would want peace-of-mind when going out with the family.
doesnt really help that the security can even allow themselves to be so lax. not in a so called “top-notch” shopping mall that prides itself as an exclusive shopping hub.
so much for expecting the basics from pavillion
Kenny…. u sell insurance now? O_O
u like oways asking us all to buy insurance ^_^
OMG I FEEL SO ANGRY WATCHING THIS VIDEO
bloody thieves!!!!!
i hope your friend is ok and feeling better 🙁
Malaysia government, you have a good job compare to many other countries, but please make it better, there have been too much shit happening. Stop spending your people’s money on stupid projects. Sometime just cut out a small portion (cost) of your giant building can help so much in our public safety/security, our job opportunities, education, culture.
Your people already work very hard days and nights to try to live a good life, but people are still quite suffering from low income.
Hence, crime rate ____ people’s quality of life ____.
i WOULD have noticed that dude taking away my stuff. but then again, i could have been way too focused in the conversation with kenny. but really leh, how to not notice?!?!?! the salesman serving you should at least suspect something. or the people around?!
wah lao that bastard. but how you know its a chinamen, from his skin complexion he can be a indon, msian chinese, malay, thai,
‘pat”pat’…. I had the same grief this year earlier in the Jan, 3 days after I touched down in KL from overseas. Had my bag behind my bag on a well-known restaurant, supposedly got some stars hotel. Bag lifted right out from my back within 10 mins, with the waitresses taking order around the desk, with people sitting next to me. What caused me grief is that some items are not replaceable, they carry fond memories….., gifts from people 10 years ago.
Is this video submitted to the police … just curious what the police say… any investigate carry on…
LOL… she shud be wise enough to learn that she’s not suppose to leave her bag with important things on the floor OUT OF HER SIGHT… sigh..
anyway.. i don pity her.. nor i feel sorry for her.. she shud know better when she leave her handbag on the floor. =.=
haha busted…
lol.
buy insurance 😀
now that is really bad. getting caught on the camera stealing.
The whole video doesn’t seem right to me.
1. The camera was panning in that narrow angle and then zoom in on the scene. This shows the camera was being operated on manually. If not, then it has inbuilt intelligence to zoom in/out but it looks more to me like it’s human-operated video recording.
2. If it was operated on manually, why was there no intervention from the security?
Kenny, spill the truth, were you asked to post this scripted scene, and why?
welcome to malaysia

2. If it was operated on manually, why was there no intervention from the security?
Kenny, spill the truth, were you asked to post this scripted scene, and why?”
I checked the video. If you view closely, it’s actually the video cam which is filming the TV which is zooming in. Not the security cam.
As for the rest of your question, it is pretty redundant.
So moral of the story for those nincompoops out there., open your eyes bigger before you start accusing and causing a huge rigamarole.
Shit happens. Just deal with it and move on.
But if I were you, I would design a WANTED poster and spread it EVERYWHERE for fun. Something like this.

At least the bastard won’t be sleeping peacefully at night. >:)
Anon, thanks for the explanation.
theo, ur a retard
Theo… is this your 1st time watching youtube? or you are too young to give comments? oh.. Mom says.. it’s always right to ask questions about something you don know… buy yourself a pair of spectacles (mean ‘glasses’ or ‘lenses’ if you don know what it means)and wear it… Perhaps you’ll laugh at the questions you’d asked…
the thief really deserves hell….
AND UR FRIEND ALSO REALLY KIAM PA…
Anon at 26 August 2008 2:29 PM
HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA
u r the best. at least got some brains
work in pav..so far the security there is better compare to other malls..instead of calling those uniformed securities, try to look for those black attired bouncers who are more efficient in locating thieves…
It looks staged. Are you sure that is not an actor?
You ave pulled a daring ‘heist’ at McD’s before. You know, just to pull up the ratings a bit, since your popularity has been dropping.
“Should we catch the offender in public? I don’t know. I saw a guy running away and another guy shouting at the back CATCH! MOLEST!
And when I did catch him, they beat him up.”
Hilary, you mean he doesn’t deserve to be beaten up? If your wife or daughter got molested, would you hand the person over just like that?
We should torture that Poo Kee Mah online like how the movie untraceable did.
Wah dangerous la these days. Better keep your personal belongings close to you. The thief should be beaten in public before being handed over to the police.
Man there are some idiots out here questioning the validity of this video. Seriously… some people are just haters with nothing else better to do.
She really lost a bag, you’ve seen it happening right before your very eyes, there was some talk about it last year, and even the victim has replied here.

Shouldn’t we focus on catching the thief, or at least scare the fuck outta the bastard !? Are we going to continue to take this type of crime shitbags without doing anything !? [/b]

EPIC FAIL. DX
no44444>> looks easier to trace the random commentators and then beat them up. that wld be more fun heheheheehe
what i find even more amusing is the fact that as he was leaving with the “loot” I can’t help but notice a guy sitting at a table near the door facing directly at him not even noticing what was going on 🙂
i cant believe not even one person saw anything.
the thief got lucky this time. next time, his legs will be broken
Umm… Did anyone think of calling the police?
And don’t give me that “ohwhatthefuckwilltheydo” bullshit. Cynical attitudes like that are key contributors to the state of security in this country.
nak curi-curik la. tapi if you kantoi. padan mukala jawabnya. 🙂
that is so swift!
Thanks for posting this. People should be more careful with their belongings.
cool man. that guy didnt drop his stuff on purpose though, fyi. he did dat juz so if you guys noticed, he;d say he’s juz reaching for his stuff u noe. still, you guys really should’ve turned around when he dropped his stuff dontcha think?
Should have put the hand bag some where visible. Put on the lap is safer I think.
The moral of the story is: don’t use handbags. I don’t care if people think I dress like a tomboy, I’d still rather wear pants with pockets.
Unlike handbags, it’s very hard to lose, forget, or have your pants stolen.
wow. i bet that he must have involved in quite a number of pickpocket and stealing item. look at his move~ so swiff~ he did it in about 40sec only.
losing so much properties in this few seconds.. hmm, every1 must be more careful
gosh woman! that is one big handbag u got there that u urself didnt notice that u “absent mindedly” not paying attention to it…and it’s a handbag…not chair bag! HOLD ON TO IT WITH UR BARE HANDS
walao… reli kiamkan lo… dis kind of ppl oso got… if captured… sure’ll nailed him like God
I NEVER put my bag anywhere other that my lap, with atleast one handle of the bag “loop” around my hand. unless i can squeeze it behind me when im sitting on the chair with a solid back. NEVER, put on the floor or to the chair next to me.
Hello, Malaysia leh, where can put expensive and important stuff unattended?? not even handphones or car keys on the table!
i realy dont understand why the stealer come in adi no one serve him or anything, just leave him alone and let him steal the bag and he just walked off like nobodys business.I mean why the hell the waiter dont serve him and dont give a damm when he walked off.
Kesian ah that man. So desperate. >>
the moral of this story is to NOT put your handbag on the floor!!
*rolls eyes*
the moral of the story, dont put ur handbag somewhere tt u cnt see.put it on ur lap lah like me.ur fren’s fault lah.den kena snatch oso dnt realise.same goes to handphones, dnt put on top of the table like nobody’s business.they also easily snatch it.
Why put handbag on the floor at the 1st place while all these cases have been happening every day? Is it tht hard for you to put or hug your handbag on your lap? Girl you got to be alert!
asasasas
only stupid people put their belongings on the floor la..
darn dirty floor.. ur fren still wanna put on the filthy floor.
no wonder kena curi la.
